This joyful Ketubah was designed to reflect the rich traditions of Jewish life. At the base of the design are Pesach, Shavuot and Sukkoth. The top seven sections show the Seven Species: wheat; barley; pomegranate; vine; olive; fig and date palm. Flanking the left side are three sections: Shabbat; Purim; and Tu B'shvat, festival of tree planting, presaging the spring and renewal. Flanking the right side are Rosh Hashanah, Hanukah and Simchat Torah. Perhaps more than any other Ketubah, The Israel Festivals Ketubah symbolizes Jewish family life.
