The Tashbetz Tallit has a raised-grid weave and is made from 100% lamb wool. The name “Tashbetz†is taken from Exodus 28:4, which refers to “a tunic of chequer work.†Tashbetz is also the name of a famous responsa by Rabbi Shimon ben Tzemach Duran of 14th century Spain. This item is available in either white with white stripes, or white with gray and silver stripes. A classic piece to wear in the synagogue.
