Purple and burgundy arabesque borders, flowers and vines create a decorative Persian motif. In this unique ketubah, the text is integrated into the artwork with matching purple ink. The quote surrounding the text, from the Song of Songs, reads: I am a Rose of Sharon, a lilly of the valley. Like a rose among the thorns, so is my beloved among women. Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest, so is my beloved among men.
